I think this is one of the most iconic cars on the road - sure this newest Beetle, officially called The New Beetle has been updated, but it still looks as great as they did back in the 70's! Even the younger generation will look at one and think of 'Herbie'. I know not everyone would run out and buy one but who doesn't think this thing is cute?! With it's rounded headlights and taillights, and a happy looking front grille - I just can't help but smile. My test beetle is the Special Edition Silver-Red. This would not be my first choice for colors - but it's very unique. And they throw in sports suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels and beautiful red leather seats. The interior is simple and classic looking. On this special edition the black and red really ad some spice to the interior. Despite being in such a small car, the drivers seat feels quit roomy. The back seat is great for kids, groceries, but most adults will have a very uncomfortable ride if they got stuck sitting back there! People will buy this car just because of what it is. I don't think you can really compare it to other cars out there. The suspension is not too soft and the 2.5L 5 cylinder engine gives you a fun 150hp. You can get a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6 speed automatic with Tiptronic. The New Beetle is a fun, zippy car with the top up or down!
